On December 4, 2022, we witnessed an incredible move of God at the Testimony Center during our Worship Episode. This event was monumental, attracting over 1,000 attendees who gathered to seek God’s presence and experience the power of worship. It was a beautiful tapestry woven together by a dedicated team of more than 60 volunteers, including worshippers, instrumentalists, sound technicians, media personnel, stage designers, ushers, and a welfare team. Together, we created an atmosphere that allowed us to encounter God in profound ways.
The worship was led by a diverse group of talented individuals from various churches, showcasing the unity of the body of Christ. Each volunteer brought their unique gifts, creating a harmonious blend that resonated deeply with everyone present. As the music filled the air, hearts were lifted, and souls were touched, reminding us of the power of collective worship.
We were honored to have influential pastors present, including Apostle George Kuch, Apostle Arnold Mbaziira, and Pr. Testimony Center. Their prophetic words spoke of exceeding blessings over the worship episode, affirming the importance of such gatherings in our continent. The atmosphere was charged with faith and expectation as visions of future worship episodes unfolded within that sacred space. This has always been our plan: to create a platform where believers can unite in worship, breaking down denominational barriers and fostering a spirit of unity within the Christian community.
In preparation for this event, we reached out to various churches, inviting them to join us. Our goal is to cultivate an environment of collaboration, drawing together diverse congregations and instilling a sense of community among worshippers. The impact of this episode extended beyond the event itself; we aim to reach those who do not yet know Christ, inviting them into this transformative experience.
One of the most heartwarming moments of the night came when a pastor approached me after the worship episode, saying, “Papa, I have never hugged you, but allow me to do it now. I have been so blessed; I can never take this for granted. You have impacted my team, and I will forever carry on these lessons every day.” This heartfelt acknowledgment reminded me of the significance of our work and the lasting impact it has on the lives we touch.
Among the attendees was a teenager—whose name we withhold—known in our community for his struggles with addiction and frequent run-ins with the law. A notorious figure, he was often seen driving a boda boda while battling his demons. When I received a picture of him in the congregation after the event, my heart was overwhelmed. It felt as though the entire worship episode was crafted for him. This moment exemplified God’s love and transformative power; it was a testament to the fact that no one is beyond redemption.
God’s Provision
You may wonder how we finance these transformative projects. The truth is, God provides, often at the last minute. We step out in faith, trusting that He will meet our needs, and time and again, He proves faithful. Our events are a collaborative effort, and the generosity of donors and volunteers fuels our mission.
