In May 2024, after a year of absence by the team leader, who was away in Riyadh, the Worship Episode was successfully held at Full Gospel Church, Luzira. This event was a true testament to the dedication, growth, and spiritual maturity of the team. Without the leader’s physical presence, the team came together, demonstrating their deep love for worship and their commitment to glorifying God. Their ability to run the event independently showed just how far they’ve come, not only as individuals but as a unified body of worshippers.
This grace-filled Sunday evening saw around 20 youth worshippers from Christianity Fellowship International (CFI) and Full Gospel Church collaborate to deliver an evening of songs, prayers, and melodies celebrating the saving grace of Christ. The atmosphere was charged with the Holy Spirit, and the congregation was moved as the worshippers poured their hearts out in praise and adoration. Over 150 attendees were present, joining in this powerful experience that will remain etched in the hearts of many.
What stood out during this episode was the effort the team made to involve new members. It was inspiring to see them welcoming fresh faces to the worship team, expanding their reach and creating an environment that fosters growth, community, and service to God.
I was graced and immensely proud of the initiative they took. Watching them organize and lead such a powerful worship episode without the need for external direction affirmed that their love for God and their commitment to worship are deeply rooted.
Looking Forward: December 07, 2025 Worship Episode
We are excited to announce that our next Worship Episode is scheduled for December 7, 2025. In preparation, we aim to embark on a mentorship program. Our goal is to train current members to become mentors for the next generation of worship leaders and team members. This mentorship is not just about teaching musical skills; it is about instilling a Christ-like attitude and preparing members for the challenges they may face in ministry.
We will also be conducting auditions to source new talent. Our aim is to attract young people to the church by giving them a platform to express their God-given talents in a Christ-honoring way. This initiative is about more than just music; it’s about guiding them on how to use their gifts responsibly, helping them grow spiritually, and providing them with the skills they need to serve the kingdom of God with excellence.
Why We Need Your Support
To make this vision a reality, we are seeking to establish our own rehearsal space. This space would allow us to carry out all our musical activities, rehearsals, videography, live session recordings, and host worship sessions that we can broadcast to the world. Having our own rehearsal space would free us from relying on church equipment, as churches often have packed schedules and limited availability. This independence will give us more flexibility, allow for greater creativity, and ensure that we can practice and record whenever necessary.
Moreover, having a dedicated space is a sustainable plan for the future of our worship ministry. It will provide consistency for training and rehearsals, offer a permanent home for worship activities, and serve as a hub for the community to come together in worship and fellowship. We believe this is a crucial step toward expanding the reach of our ministry and enhancing the quality of our worship experiences.
