The Infinite Savings & Credit Project was launched to empower youths and community members by instilling a savings culture, promoting financial literacy, and providing access to finance. By pooling resources, the initiative aims to enable members to acquire assets, start businesses, and invest in profitable ventures. The project operates as a savings cooperative, offering loans and financial support while envisioning future expansion into entrepreneurship training and real estate investment.
Objectives
Encourage members to save at least 1,000 UGX per day, fostering long-term financial discipline.
Enable members to acquire assets such as land or machinery through collective savings and loan systems
Provide training for startups, with the goal of supporting members in starting small businesses.
Equip members with essential financial knowledge to manage savings, loans, and investments.
Collaborate with banks to offer credit facilities that individual members might not qualify for on their own
Create opportunities for group investments, including real estate ventures and village schemes.
Key Project Components
- Members commit to saving at least 2,000 UGX per day, building a fund for loans, investments, and collective financial growth.
- Offer short-term and long-term loans to members based on their savings contributions, with interest rates ranging from 15-20%Â
