Talent Search

Talent Search is an annual initiative designed to discover and nurture talented young individuals, especially in the field of music, with the goal of preparing them for studio recordings and participation in larger events such as the Worship Episode. The program offers training in music and performance, while also focusing on the challenges that come with fame, such as addictions, anxiety, and cultural pressures. By rooting participants in faith and providing them with practical life skills, Talent Search aims to develop responsible, well-rounded artists who are prepared for success.

Event Details:

• Target Audience:
  Talented youth (ages 16-30) interested in music, especially those from underserved communities, church choirs, and local performance groups. Music producers, record labels, talent scouts, and faith-based organizations are also targeted.
• Activities:
  • Talent Auditions: Open auditions where participants showcase their vocal and instrumental abilities. Shortlisted candidates are selected for further training.
  • Music Workshops: Intensive music training sessions focused on vocal techniques, stage performance, songwriting, and music theory, led by experienced music coaches and artists.
  • Faith & Life Skills Training: Workshops addressing the pressures of fame, mental health, dealing with addiction, managing relationships, and maintaining faith while pursuing a career in music.
  • Mentorship Program: Participants are paired with experienced mentors in the music industry who guide them through the challenges of being a young artist, offering advice on balancing faith, fame, and personal growth.
  • Studio Recording Sessions: Selected participants are given the opportunity to record their music professionally, with guidance from producers and sound engineers.
  • Live Showcase Event: A culminating event where participants perform in front of an audience, including talent scouts, music producers, and industry professionals.
  • Networking Opportunities: Sessions where participants can meet industry professionals, connect with fellow artists, and explore opportunities for future collaborations.
  • Awards and Scholarships: Recognition for outstanding talent, with potential opportunities for scholarships, music production deals, or sponsorships to further develop their careers.
